How many of us would love to look young. The answer would be yes for most of us. With these simple changes in the way you applied make up can change the way you look and who doesn’t want to stay young forever.
Moisturize Moisturize Moisturize
Our skin looses its sheen by the time we hit our 30’s. A good moisturizer boosts the hydration in the skin, prevents dullness and flaking. The ideal time to apply the moisturizer is when your skin is still little wet. Use a good moisturizer day and night. This is also the first step in make up application.
Stop using too much powder
Powder takes away the sheen from the face making it look dry and cakey. For setting your make up use a translucent powder than a heavy pressed powder. Its finer so it tends to settle into fine lines and wrinkles easily. Apply it with a big fluffy kabuki brush in circular motion and blend it with the foundation.
There is a way to use highlighter to your advantage. Dab a little on the cheekbones and also very little on the apples of the cheeks. Skip applying on the whole face especially where you have fine lines as it will only accentuate the wrinkles.
Add definition to your brows
Our eyebrows tend to become thinner as we get older, full eyebrows lifts the face and balancing both the eyebrows makes a lot of difference in the appearance giving it a good frame to your face.
Choose a lipstick that’s not too dark
Dark and deeper shades tend to make you look older than your age. Choose something on the lines of pink and also add a bit of gloss for that youthful plumpness.
